Asbury First United Methodist Church

Bero Architecture PLLC assisted Asbury First United Methodist Church develop a Facilities Master Plan and coordinate the subsequent implementation of several buildings housing numerous community outreach programs and a large parish. The Asbury campus is located in a local preservation district and a National Register historic district. The most difficult and interesting aspect of the project was the allocation of space in four buildings between many competing groups.

Specific items addressed included rainwater disposal, electrical repairs, sitework (ramp, garden wall, parking area, circulation, playground drainage, and coordination of planting plan with landscape architect), energy conservation program, roofing, masonry reconstruction, and interior repairs.

We are honored that the new Fellowship Hall and renovations in the church were recognized with an Award of Merit by The Landmark Society of Western New York in 2009.
